Hi
What is the best way to get from the airport to the station, bus, train or how much would it be in a taxi? How long does each option take as I have a train to catch.(a bit obvious I suppose) Thanks in advance Geoff |

Hi there! You have a train station right in the airport . The train runs every 20 min to Malaga city center and you can stop in the rail station in Malaga. I was living there 5 years ago an the price was arround 1,20Eur. A taxi will cost you arround 25Eur to the city center, not worth. Considering that Malaga is a very popular location you wont have problems to find info at the airport. Enjoy your stay in that lovely part of Andalucia!

As you are getting a train at the Malaga RENFE station then you can get the local train that runs along the coast starting at Fuengirola and stopping at the airport before going into Malaga. They run every 30 minutes.Doesn't take long. Cost is 1.15 € single weekdays and 1.25 € weekends. get a ticket in the machine so take some spare change. or look at the Spanish airports web site www.aena.es and you can get info.

And also if you take the train you will see more than into a cab because the train stops in the mains villeags of costa del sol , benalmadena , torremolinos , fuengirola.You can use the train to go malaga for see the historic center and gibralfaro´s castle or get to the coast. You will have a nice experience.
