Ok, so we live in the stone ages! But we don't have a credit card and need to hire a car. Can anyone think of a way around this problem? Quickly?!

Contact the company in advance and find out how much cash you would need to give them. Then get a receipt for the cash or you will probably never see it again. Probably time to get some plastic - you don't have to use it but it sure does come in handy at times like this.

In costa del sol all the companies who rent car´s ask for a cc as a guarantee of the car.Well, i dont know if any company accepts a cash as deposit for the car.Try to call europcar malaga , the numer is 0034 952 048 518 , this is the main office in the airport. Let me know if they accepts this service because i work in hotels and allways i have to ask about cc. See u
