Hi!
I've been to Bocas twice but I've never stayed in that Hotel. I would recommend to sleep in Isla Bastimento and NOT isla Colon (to me it's way too noisy and full of tourists, depends...if you luv the nightlife you could stay half of your stay in Isla colon and the other one in the more beautiful Bastimento)...anyhow I'd recommend Mondo Taitu in Isla Colon (http://www.myspace.com/mondotaitu ) and Hostal Bastimento in Isla Bastimento. This last one has a beautiful location as well as really comfortable facilieties among which: Internet Café and bar, several common kitchens and bathrooms, a lot of space where chill out and it's clean. Have a wonderful stay! Elisa

Another tip:
if you catch rainy weather (it depends when you are going, but it rains often over there) and you want to switch to a sunny environment, try the nearby Pacific Coast (Dry season from December to Middle April). I would recommend a stop in Boquete too (halfway from the Atlantic and the Pacific coast, it has a wonderful microclimate and it looks like Switzerland in spring to me :D). There you can hike up the Volcan Baru (and in the early morning it's possible to see both ocean standing on the same spot...ask around for Pete of Pete's Mountain Tours, he's a great guide and speaks an excellent English) to sleep Hostal Nomba (cheap, clean, friendly staff and hosts). Regarding the Pacific coast I'd recommend Playa Las Lajas if you like quiet environments (but soon enough we'll have some parties too over there, for info see my travel tips) or down the Interamericana you can find lovely surf beaches like Santa Catalina (but they are further enough) where there is more nightlife. Have a wonderful stay! I do love Panama! :DDD Elisa
