I have stayed at the Caribe Hilton before and I know there is some construction going on in the surrounding area. Is the construction still going on and, more importantly, is it affecting the hotel?

there is ALOT of construction going on in that area, but from the rooms facing the water you don't see it. The Caribe is located closest to the bridge to San Juan proper, the construction is further down... from our rooms at the Marriot we had seen it.
Anyone going to this area should ask. We were there almost 6 months ago...
