I cannot seem to find out where (if any!) public swimming pools are in the villages around Montpellier. I wish to find a swimming pool on the outskirts of Montpellier rather than have to go into the centre. Can anyone tell me where I can go/find them?

Will this help? I never cease to wonder when travelling in France that almost every small community you travel through signposts a Piscine so I'm sure you will find one close to where you will be staying.

Thank you, but I checked out that link and it includes swimming pool manufacturers etc. Is there any site (besides the montpellier agglo site) which lists public swimming pools? I'm hoping to find a pool as far out as Ganges but after searching for what seems like forever, can't seem to find anything.

There is a Link on this website to the tourism office in Ganges with an email address and telephone number
http://www.tourinfos.com/gb/r0011/d0034/m0003/p000055.htm Swimming in the rivers Herault and Vis where there are swimming ”holes” is a possibility. I don’t see a public pool in Ganges but there is one in the village of St Andre de Majuscules which is quite nearby. Hope this helps.
