Hi there, first of all you're not saying if you're planning on using regular mail or a courier like UPS, DHL or Fedex to send the package. FYI, the guatemalan postal system is being run by a canadian company www.elcorreo.com.gt
The normal way to write a postal address is no different than the way we do it here in the US. You would have to know the street or Avenue and house number and zip code (zona), town and departamento (state). I'm saying this because in countries like costa rica and nicaragua they still use a system like back in the colonial days using reference points.
So it should be something like this:
Sr. Fulano de Tal (John Doe)
5a Calle 4-12 zona 2
Parramos, Chimaltenango
Guatemala, Central America
You could send it certify return reciept requested or something like that. Just in case you need to trace it by contacting the correo via e-mail.
