Hi there, Kochi is a fantastic place. There is a lot to do. I'm not sure about the accomodation (resort), there are great places. I have references of wbsites on my page on Kochi - one one Cochin and one on Kerela, sure you will find the resort on one of those sites. Let me know if you have any more questions.

No idea about Riverdale resort ...may be you can check with tripadvsor where people who stayed there would surely comment.

If you wish to stay in a quiet place (infront of the sea), you should find an accommodation in Cochin island ( Kochi has Ernakulam which is the actual city and Cochin island that is quiet with port and warehouses and very good hotels)
However the prices of the rooms are high in Cochin Island.

Cochin is a place to be seen --visit to jews syngague, spices street, Fort, chinese fishing nets, temples, a cheap boat ride to smaller islands, etc etc. You can also witness one of the popular classical dances called Katahakali,
Cochin being a financial capital of Kerala, you get all facilities in the city. Let me know as to the number of days you intend to stay and your budget for the hotel so that more suggestions can be given.
