Hi,
I'm Russian citizen with a greencard, do I need a visa to come for a few hours with a cruiseship? Does anyone actually checks visas at the docks? I heard you do not need a visa if on a cruise but not sure how true that is:) Thanks for any info! |

I forgot to say in answer to your other enquiry that Yes - where Visas are required they are checked. Immigration Officers often come aboard and a small "office" -usually a desk and chair! - is set up next to the disembarcation point so that Visas are checked before anyone leaves ship.
