<<<Hotels on the InternetWebSite are mostly expensive>>>

Could you rephrase this question and explain what expensive and inexpensive are in Euros.

There are those who believe Le Crillon is inexpensive.

Hi,
Last year we stayed at a small hotel that was centrally located. The Hotel Du College De France was located halfway between the Pantheon and Notre-Dame. It is situated in the heart of the Latin Quarter. The owner is almost always present and will help you with restaurant reservations or directions. I think we paid, (in season) a price of 95 Euros. They serve a very nice (free) breakfast with homemade bread and sweet rolls. www.hotel-collegedefrance.com or 33- (0) 1 43 26 78 36.

This is an unbelievable bargain: Hotel Henri IV on Ile de la Cite - right down the street from notre dame. 35 euros a nite - barely a nudge up from when I stayed there 15 years ago. So is it 'nice'? Probably you will spurn it, but for those who love convenience, it is the way.

Hi In May we stayed at Hotel Sorbonne in the Latin Quarter on the same street as Sorbonne University. Nice hotel , very convenient , off peak you most likely get a room for 80 Euro. Photos and contact on my page, send them an email asking for quote.
Good Luck,
Mike

Try Hotel Harvey. Ideally located since it is few steps from the Congress Center of Porte Maillot and from the buses driving you to the main attractions like Printemps, Galeries Lafayette, Tour Eiffel, and Disneyland Paris. Staff are very helpful and friendly. I consider the room rates inexpensive. US$40-US$80 could be within your price range.

Hope this helps.
