Banawe Travel Forum

we're planning to go to Banawe this coming January,i wish to know how we can get there if we travel with our own transportation.and i want to know how many hours or days will it take us to get to Banawe and to Sagada?

Take NLEX and exit at Sta. Rita. After the exit, take the national highway (also known as Cagayan Valley Road/Maharlika Highway) and don't leave it until you get to the Bagabag Junction in Nueva Vizcaya which is a fork in the road leading to Banaue (left) and Cagayan (right).

Another option is to drive farther north and exit at San Simon. This way, you'll avoid the slow-moving traffic in some Bulacan towns as you'll end up somewhere in Nueva Ecija. However, I'm not familiar with this route as I haven't tried it.

here's just a few places or landmarks, if you will, to guide you on your journey.

after sta. rita exit:
1. cabanatuan
2. san jose
3. santa fe
4. bambang
5. solano
6. bagabag junction

just as asianbelle said, just go straight, don't take the curving road at the fork as that leads to isabela and cagayan, and you'll reach banaue in about 2 hours.
