Can anyone tell me where I will be able to purchase SIM cards for my english mobile for me to phone home in the UK. Will I get one from Cape Town Airport or from the centre of Cape Town.

Literally 100's of places will sell them all over Cape Town. The supermarkets are probably the easiest. No rush to get one at the airport.

suoermarkets, the waterfront, petrol stations - there is Vodacom, MTN , Cell C..
