| Sevilla | Ronda... Posted: Tue October 16, 2007 11:45 AM UTC
Is it possible to go to Ronda from Sevilla as a daytrip by bus?
Where can I see the timetables? Thanks in advance for you replies. |

Ciao Maurizio! Even feasible, I think it may not be worth it. I's a 2 hours and a half trip each way... if you take the first bus you'll arrive to Ronda until 10:30, and you'll have to leave at 17. We stayed 2 nights in Ronda to have a complete day here, and to enjoy the night views of the bridge over the gorge....(and felt it was not enough). I would suggest a ovenight stay, or choose another town easier to reach from Sevilla, i.e Carmona
When are planning your trip? Be aware Ronda my be really cold in winter and even the roads may be closed. For more ideas, look here: http://www.exploreseville.com/side-trips.htm

Muchas gracias Isa!
I've been to Ronda before, but I'll be curious to visit it again after many years (more than 10 I suppose). I'm going to Sevilla at Christmas'. Ciao!

I was there at Christmas time too. The day we left Ronda it took us twice as planned due the fog and ice at the road, it was really scary (and I'm used to icy mountain roads). I'm quite sure the buses were not running this day due to road conditions... so better have a b-plan just in case :)

There's no problems...I ordered seven sunny days.

I always have a b-plan. Anything can happen, even on holidays.
Thanks again!
