Do boats travel from Riomaggiore to the other four towns in November? If so where do I find the information concerning schedules. What time does the elevator stop running for the day in Riomaggiore? Thanks, Beejay421

On the boats - if they are running will depend on various factors and the main is the weather. However the boat men seem to want to party a bit so timetables are not necessarily in their speak :)

Isn't there an elevator right across from the booth where they check your tickets?
I have been there 3 times all in November and the boats were never running.

There is an elevator that goes from outside the train station up Via Signorini. The cost to ride the elevator is include in the ticket to use the Via Amore walk to the other towns. It is especially handy if you are staying in one of the homes on Via Signorini above the town. I did find out that the boats stop running November 4th and don't start again until spring.
