At least for some countries (Syria, Lebanon) the Jordanian stamp is enough to refuse entrance.

the israeli costumers will stamp it on a piece of paper if you ask them.
i have had that done a few times.
the problem though is that there will still be a jordanian exit stamp that will tell that you crossed the land border at aquaba and that might give them trouble in other places.

As some V.T colleagues says is just asking for a separate paper for the Visa/or the entry Stamp from the Israeli border, you don't have any problem any where having the Jordanian exit or entry Stamp on your passport from the same border, you can across Jordan to Israel to Egypt and vice versa. At present if you want to travel directly from Jordan to Egypt or vice versa you can take the boat from Aqaba to Taba or from Taba to Aqaba for the price of 50 $ a round Trip.

Re your second question : An Israeli stamp is not a problem when entering Egypt (or Jordan). Its only aproblem is you plan to visit certain other Arab states later on.

As Sharon wrote, tourists don't have a problem entering Egypt with Israeli stamp in their passport but Egyptian citizens could suffer when they go back home if they visited Israel.

Also, a Jordanian stamp from one of the border crossings with Israel is a problem if you want to enter Syria or Lebanon.
