Hello everyone,
I'm planing to move to Sarajevo early next year and was wondering about the internet connections in the city. I would need it for work and it should be reliable and fast, Dial-Up wouldn't be good enough. Does anyone know a little more about this?

Sure there are broadband internet connections in Sarajevo.
BH Telecom provides ADSL - www.bih.net.ba

CATV operators provide internet connection as well. Not whole area of the city is covered by all CATV operators though. So depending on where you'll be staying at, check these:

Would anyone happen to know if there are any cafe's in Sarajevo that offer free wifi? If not, what's the going rate for an internet cafe? I'll be in town for an extended period and work through the net.

Any advice would be wonderful.

ADSL is available, then cable connections and so on .. depending on where u will stay and where u plan to use the net mostly

yes there is a little bunch of caffes with the wireless. the cost - no idea as i use the web at work and home occasionally
net caffes r not really recomended due to a bunch of viruses on the comps there.prices are really small though - do not worry about those unless u're coming from Botsvana ,)
