hi im from england and im looking to move to marietta to live and take a music business course in athens. im just unsure of how far they are apart (in miles?) and and of bus/marta/train services that go between the two if anyone could help with this that would be a great help thanks |

It is about 79 miles between the two cities or 90 minutes of driving.
You don't want to making this commute every day. Your only option if you don't have a car is to use Greyhound.

It won't be a fun drive either just to tack on to the other poster. I assume you intend to live in Marietta for the access to nightlife, but Athens is a college town so it would not be completely boring to live there and your housing will be a little less.
