Kazakhstan Travel Forum

Hi guys,

I will working in Kazahsktan (Atyrau) for one year. Maybe I will start in January next year, after my training in Italy for next 3 months. I try to get the info about Kazakhstan, but only a few valuable info. I wish anyone who can help me can send the comments or reply. I want to know about the living cost (I heard it's expensive),interesing place in Kazakhstan (not only in Atyrau) and weather (temperature). I am not sure about the weather there.
Anything else is, I plan to go to Moscow from Atyrau (maybe by Atrau Airways). Which aiports can I go (except Almaty) and any airlines can provide this services from Kazakhstan???
Talking about Moscow, maybe you also can help me, such as travel visa, budget hotels, places, weather etc.
I wish you can responds and help me in this ...

1. about the living cost (I heard it's expensive)- living cost can be very expensive - it is really depends on what you prefer;
2. interesing place in Kazakhstan (not only in Atyrau) and weather (temperature) - the wehather in Atyrau is quite soft but windy, some days in Winter can be very cold due to Wind. Other interesting place - Almaty and Astana.
3. plan to go to Moscow from Atyrau (maybe by Atrau Airways). Which aiports can I go (except Almaty) and any airlines can provide this services from Kazakhstan??? - you can go to Moscow from Atyrau directly, or from Astana.

HI.. thanks for the info from Astana..but its still not very clear about living cost. I try to find some info from internet, but nothing I can used so far. Anyone who travel to Kazakh, please help me with the info. I need to know the living cost, likes food or drink in Kazakhstan. How much the cost? I will working there without allowance, si I need to make a preparation and budget. Thanks for the assist. Grazie.
