Hi everyone, we are coming to Daytona from the UK for 2 weeks in January, but are visiting Jacksonville for the Rugby league match arranged by Russell Crowe between south sidney rabbitohs and leeds rhinos to be played at UNF. Can you tell us where to stay for the night, somewhere there is a few decent bars nearby, not too expensive, and how far from the beach area is UNF?

you can stay at motel 6 they our cheap and clean also you can check out www.kayak.com and as far as bars www.hooters.com is the place to go! hope these helps you!

Well, what's not too expensive ... around $100? I looked up bestwestern.com for Jacksonville, Florida and found Best Western Hotel JTB/Southpoint - seems to be near the University.

your not to far maybe 3 or 4 miles 202 highway which runs right in front of unf takes you over to A1A highway then you can decide which beach you want!maybe a little cool there!i have been working in the area for the past 3 years its been cool and i had to go to cocco beach before i could get wet!!have fun
