Does anybody out there know of a surf school in Santa Cruz with a knowledgeable instructor, preferably a professional surfer that's willing to teach beginners???

Hey, what's up? I have lived here in Santa Cruz for twenty years and never learned how to surf before last year. I have paid for countless surf lessons and never even got to my feet in any of them. I blamed it all on myself, until I met Marcel. Marcel is the best surf instructor I've ever had in my life, he got me up and riding in less than one hour!! Got to Cowell's Surf Shop in Santa Cruz, they can advise you on everything from renting the best boards, surf instructors and where the best place to surf in the area is that day. Cowabunga! :)
