Antalya Antalya weather in November
Posted: Wed October 10, 2007 01:18 PM UTC
We plan to spend the honeymoon in Antalya during mid November. I could use your advice regarding the weather to expect. Could it be rainy? I imagine it would be too cold for going to the beach.

Also how far would the airport be from a beach hotel? Is there any public transportation available or only by taxi?

Hi,

Thank you very much for your transportation advice. We do not know yet where to stay. To be honest I did not do any thorough research. I don't even know if November is a good time to go to Antalya from the weather point of view. I don't think it will be possible to go to the beach in November, but we hope to be able to explore. What would be the average temperature in November.

Thank you,
Oana

Antalya is good for the beach in october .After october is getting colder.
maybe you can swim but forecast should be warmer than normal novembers.
It is rainy season also. But it is warmest part of the Turkey too in november.
you can find Better weather in tukey in november just in Antalya.

Why you are choosing Antalya? Why not Istanbul or Izmir or Bursa?

Secondy the weather...that can be a tough question because no one can predict the weather. Last year the weather in November was great and up until early January. I may or May not be warm enough for sunbathing etc...
But with global warming who knows ????? so many changes with weather patterns all over the world.

For the past few weeks or so the weather has been absolutely wonderful. Great for walks ouside, tanning at the beach and even those swimming as well. If you follow this link it will give you the weather report for the next 7 days.

Trust me it gets cool at night so don't forget to bring a bit of warmer clothing.

There are plenty of things to do in ands around Antalya and if you are not hit with rain a perfect time to get out and explore some of the hidtorical areas. Less crowded than the summer months and not as hot.

Do you plan to do a package tour and stay at one of the 5 star resorts??? or plan to DIY ?? if DIY then stay in the Kaleiçi ( old city ) area and there are lovely restored ottoman houses now used as up-scale boutique hotels. The Tuvana hotel would be a lovely spot for a honeymoon but it is a bit on the expensive side.

Hi there.
We often stay at our villa in Mahmutlar in Oct- November. The temperature is still in the mid - high 20s with maybe if you are unlucky a little rain.

Regards Colin & Janet
