Ko Chang Travel Forum

Hello,

I'm off to Ko Chang with friends and family in a couple of weeks. We really want to go somewhere close to Bangkok as we only have 12 days, so Ko Chang seemed to be the sensible option.

Does anyone have any recommendations on where to stay (budget but nice - looking to spend maybe £10-£15 per night) and what to do when we are there?

Or, if you think i should head somewhere else i'd be glad to know also,

Koh Chang have so many nice beaches on it. I have been stayed at few of them before.. If you're in budget..so I would recommend you to stay at White Sand beach. many accomodation there - Also they have many nice place to have food right on the beach.. you can just walk around and see what place u like.
Dont forget to walk to have food there on day time "Rock Sand" just almost the end of the White Sand Beach, on the right side. very nice place to have food there and you can see the good view of the beach from there ! :-)

But if you like something different with quite specail place with not many tourists around.. so I would recommend you to try this one " Tree House" At long beach. It's a new one with far away from another beach but really nature and peaceful. Please noted that they have another "Tree House" at Lonely beach too, which it for backpacker if you like to make new friends who 're laid back enouch.

Many thinngs to do on Koh Chang. you also can buy a one day trip from the travel agency to out for snokeling too.
