Hi I am traveling to Tampere in Mid Novemeber. My flight gets in quite late in the evening and I was wondering if anyone knows about a fairly basic hotel close by to the airport? I am a bit of an in-experienced traveler and traveing on my own so i am a bit worried about check in time with hotels etc...

Iäm sorry I am not sure where this hotel is but there is a chain of hotels called "omena". The system is you have a card that opens the front door for you as well as the hotel room. It is a very basic place to stay and if I have understood correctly there is no staff that much. But the place is safe as it is monitored by cameras.
Tampere is a nice place to visit, too.

Wno are you flying with, as most of the low cost airlines have buses that meet them to take passengers to central Tampere

Im flying with Ryan air.. That sounds great if they do that I will look out for it :)

As you come through arrivals, there is a shop which sells the tickets.

Looking at the timetable, the evening coaches leave at 8.45 and 11.00pm

The fare is 6 Euros and the buses are run in conjunction with Ryanair, so if there is a delay, I would assume they would wait.

Tampere airport isn´t exactly at Tampere.It´s at village called Pirkkala,and there´s no single hotel in Pirkkala.But it takes around 30min to Tampere-centre,where is lots of hotels.Big chains and small independent hotels.
