Forum Question Posted By: Replies:
Faro Bus
Posted: Tue October 9, 2007 04:19 PM UTC
The 24th of December, my girlfriend and I are flying to Faro and plan to travel directly to Sevilla from there. However, we land at 16.05 and the last bus leaves at 17.20 (EVA). Do we have enough time to go from the airport to the bus station?

Thanks in advance,

Hi Mart,

As long as your flight lands on time, you should be ok.

Faro is a relatively small airport, so you'll be able to get your luggage, pass through passport control and get in a taxi pretty quickly.

The bus station is only about 10 minutes taxi ride from the airport and, in January of this year, it cost us 8 Euros for the journey.

Good luck and enjoy your trip!

Jonathan

It depends on how long you'll have to wait for your luggage.

We flew into Faro 3 weeks ago. It took 15 minutes to go through passport control, pick up our bags and walk out the front door - one of the fastest arrivals we've enjoyed. Who knows what it will be like for you, but the airport is small and seemed efficient.

The airport is not far from the city centre either and I imagine traffic will be light, so I wouldn't worry. Happy travels!
