We're considering renting a cottage in the Irish Hills area around the last week of July 2008. There are 6 of us, but we'd like to have enough beds or floor space for 10-12 so other family could be there as well. Other considerations would be to have a sand beach for castles and a shallow entrance to the lake for the little ones to wade & splash in. A pontoon would definitely be a plus!
I really don't know the area -- what lakes are good for what activities? What lakes are close enough to grocery stores and day activities? What other considerations should we be aware of? Where do I start to look? Thanks, everyone! |
