Re: Kruger vs Serengeti! Posted: Mon October 8, 2007 07:29 PM UTC
I much prefered the Serengeti (Tanzanian side) to the Kruger but I went in December, during the "short rains" - in fact, none at all in the Serengeti itself. Anyway, according to this, March April and May are all good times for Serengeti South, May also for Serengeti North, and both of those in all 3 months better than Kruger:

Regarding where to stay, I stayed at the Serengeti Serena which was excellent: http://www.tanzaniaodyssey.com/lodges_info/serengeti-serena.htm
As for a travel agent, this would normally be where you live which probably isn't where I live; or possibly you mean tour operator (again, normally you would need one that organises trips from your home country)? Or are you looking for a local safari organiser in the country you decide to go to? In which case I can't help you as my friend booked everything through a Danish contact in Arusha.
