Hi

I have a young family and I am hoping to relocate to Islamabad in the near future. Can anyone give me any advice on where the best schools are in the capital and information on fees and what the average fees are in Pakistan. I am also worried about the healthcare aspect so any tips on good health centres/clinics would also be appreciated. Also where would be a good place to meet new people and expats with families.

As far education of your children is concerned u will find lot of schools of all types and all amount of fees in islamabad. first u have to decided where do you want to live in islamabad. People are really crazy regarding eduction of their children in Islamabad. So u will not face any difficulty regarding this matter. Regarding good clinics i will suggest you two hospital of really good repute Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) of goverment sector and Al-Shifa Hospital of private sector. u will find a class of doctors and specialists in these hospitals. do not worry about ur stay in Islamabad u will enjoy it. if u need further help please do not shy of asking me

Well, there are lots of schools in different areas of Islamabad, finding a good school in Islamabad is not a big deal. You can pay from 500 to 5000 per month. Health facilities are good. PIMS, Poly clinic, Ali Medical Center and Shifa International are good but I have heard a lot of wrong things about Shifa International (may be it’s a totally commercial project and their main object is to earn money). But over all, you can find a lot of really good specialists in Islamabad.
