We are rving down the baja and are avid fisherman we brought a very small boat with us and was wondering if anyone could tell us the best locations to be sure to catch fish either from our small boat or from shore also the best fishing tackle to use.

Driving down the Baja will be an adventure in itself. It's long, narrow and there's long stretches of "nothing but scenery" so it's worth the drive. Loreto is my favorite and has been a favorite fishing village for many years.

Saludos Fisherman. The BEST fishing in ALL of Baja is at the Rancho Leonero Hotel. It is located in EastCape, 100Km. south of La Paz, 100Km. north of Cabo.World record fish, all the time. Best place for Dorado. Also check out jkulick@yahoo.com, they sell a map of the whole peninsula with all the fish at the diferent locations.
