I have a cousin in Kariba and haven't heard from her for awhile. Any suggestions about how good the phone service is there if I were to try to phone her?

Try looking/asking on the Rhodesians Worldwide website. I am sure you find her or someone who knows her and can help.

Just to update my situation, perhaps thinking of a person a lot makes them think of you... I received a card from my cousin yesterday, out of the blue!! She was hoping that I was at the same address and wanting to renew communications. I now have her sister's address & e-mail in Zambia to contact her!
