Isla de Tenerife Travel Forum

Hi

We are going to Tenerife 1st week of November and I'm a bit worried it is going to be dead! We like lively nightlife and I don't want to go there and find all the pubs and clubs shut. I know it wont be like it is in June/July but will places still be open and busy?

We're staying at the Play Paraiso Floral - weve been told its about a twenty minute taxi ride from the Americas but i still dont know anything about where the hotel is actually based! ANybody any ideas?

PS - will I need my suncream in November?!!

I was in Las Americas a couple of years ago at the end of October and we needed suntan cream. It will be mid to late 70's so I would suggest you take some. Being an island the wind can add to the tan factor:)

As for the nightlife, it had quietened down on the main strip but it was still busy enough to have fun... I think I had the better experience than it being too over-crowded.

It is a beautiful island and I hope you have a fab time, I am jealous you have a holiday there so soon lol...

The crowd's probably a bit older, as a lot of tourists there are pensioners, but you'll still be able to have a great time!

If you go to Las Americas I can testify I was the oldest there and I am only 31 now:)
