| Doha | transit visa Posted: Sat October 6, 2007 01:10 PM UTC
my husband and I are going from Australia to Cairo via Doha and would like to know if we need a transit visa as we will be there for about 3 -4 hours on both ways of our journey. What happens if our plane is delayed over night, would we need a visa then. I just want to be certain before we arrive to save any problems.
Thanks |

If you are britsh no problem, but in this case you will get form to fill at the Doha airport and pay some a mount of money(cheap).
Hope this is clear

You don't need a visa if you stay in the airport, which you certainly should do if you only have three or four hours. If you want to leave the airport, you may need a visa DEPENDING ON WHAT PASSPORTS YOU ARE HOLDING, which is something that I don't know -- so how can I venture an opinion? Your travel agent should have that sort of information at his or her fingertips; if not, you need a new travel agent. You may also need to learn how to use Google.
