| Gibraltar | info moving to Gibraltar Posted: Thu October 4, 2007 09:39 PM UTC
Hi everyone,
I hope someone can help me out here. I live in London and I would like to move to Gibraltar with my son. I will be travelling to Gib on 16th Oct to 22 Oct, to see if I can cope to move there. I have been there on holiday and I loved it, I am so excited to go again. My question is, I have been searching for cheapest accommodation, but it seems that it’s difficult to find any cheap one, I am looking for self-catering or one bedroom somewhere with cooking facility, Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks Desperate mum Sheren |

Gibraltar is expensive for accomodation, why don't you try La Linea in Spain which is the neighbouring town to Gibraltar.

Hi,
Most people I know live in La Linea in Spain and travel to Gib every day. It takes only 30 min(by foot) to get form the city centre of La Linea to Gib. You can easily walk :) I was last there in May and it was okay for a visit, but what is like to live there I don't know. Hope this helps, visit my Gib page

The cheapest apartments for a holiday let is either Ocean heights apartments or Governors Inn apartments. Tel:00350 44227. Both are centrally located.
