Hi-coming to Amsterdam for honeymoon and found out Springsteen was playing in Arnhem. Have done some reading and it seems I can get to Arnhem pretty easily from Amsterdam. It seems the last train leaves around 23:53. If we get out of the show around 23:00 would there be enough time to catch the bus and then get the train back? Someone had posted when there are concerts, there is one that leaves around 00:53 and that those are not posted. I was just wondering if anyone can give me some information before I purchase these tickets. Thanks for your help. Suzanne

You did your research well.
The last bus from Gelredome (where the concert is) to Arnhem trainstation, is at 0:44.
However, the last train leaving from Arnhem to Amsterdam is at 23.58 hrs.
And that is a 1 hr 40 min. trip train ride. Significantly longer than the normal-schedule trains that run earlier (a 1 hr 10 min. ride on average).

I've looked up www.gelredome.nl and there they advise that after concerts you need to calculate 30 minutes traveltime from Gelredome to Arnhem central station. It takes longer than the way there (15 mins), because of all the people wanting to get back at the same time. Extra buses are used.

In short: possibly you could catch the 23.28 or 23.58 train from Arnhem Central to Amsterdam Central.

Here's a message from a citizen of the town The Boss is again coming back to (no doubt because of the great acoustics of our proud stadion "Gelredome"). Okay ... enough bragging) ... The Gelredome always takes care of bus transport between the Gelredome stadion and the Central Station. Busses are taking the many fans to the trains and the trains usually wait on the last large loads from the busses (continuous communication between the busses and the station). Only when you would deliberately stay behind on the Gelredome, you might get stuck in Arnhem and then again ... that would of course be fantastic, as you then can enjoy more from this magnificent town the next day!

I'm wondering if you still bought the tickets? As I emailed you before, the concert is sold out. But you found some tickets on sale (ebay?). Would be nice to hear from you!

Which night are you seeing him? We are also travelling from Amsterdam to Armhem to see Springsteen on the 30th November. Would you consider sharing a cab with my and hubby, don't know how much it would be but could ask hotel to arrange. What do you think. Be a shame to miss the end of the concert! Sally

Of course I hope that you will get a reply, but as the initial question has been posted quite some time ago and the person in question's last login was on the 6th of October, I guess she will not come back on it.
Anyway: busses travel within only ten minutes from the Central Station to the Gelredome Stadion. Don;t bother taking a taxi!
