I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO MY TRIP TO OKINAWA AND SO EXCITING. ALSO ONE THING , IS SWIMMING TOO COLD DURING NOVEMBER? |

The water is going to be pretty cold that time of year and the beaches are "officially" closed then. Cold is relative as many people dive all tear round there; they just use wet suit or dry suit then. There will be no lifeguards. You do have the option of going to a spa or resort that has a heated pool or onsen.

Sorry...I am going to add my 5 cents to this post. Listen to Olddude's advice...You have to be more specific about your budget when asking about hotels. The Hanbi area of Okinawa is also not a nice place to stay with so many other options. You have mentioned a lot about weather and swimming. If that is the case, stay away from the Hanbi and Chatan area and go up north instead. If you are into nightlife, stay in Naha and take a daytrip to the beach or out to the Kerama Islands. You can join a snorkeling tour and they can provide wetsuits for that time of the year...Let us know your budget and your priorities (e.g. shopping, nightlife, or beach life) and it will be easier to offer advice.
