HELLO OLDDUDE thanks very much for your information, i am from hong kong. DO YOU STILL RECOMMEND ME TO GO TO OKINAWA DURING NOV? IF SO ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS NEAR HAMBY TOWN AND KOKUSAI DORI? THANKS

I have no particular recommendations. As I said before, there is only one hotel near Hamby Town (which is in the Chatan area of Okinawa); the Beach Tower Resort and it is quite expensive to stay in. Why Hamby Town? There are only a couple of main stores, some really neat places to eat and Araha Beach. Further up the coast there is Sunset Beach and the Beach Tower as well as Mihama (American Village) with the big ferris wheel and lots of shops and restaurants I didn't get to Naha much so I can't really recommend in hotels in the Kokusai Dori area except maybe the Kokusai Plaza, Seibu Orion, or Sun Plaza. I lived there so not much use for hotels for me. I mention those three because I have Okinawan friends whose relatives stayed at those when they cam for visits and I had to go meet them there (some of my Okinawan friends' relatives do not speak Japanese). They seemed to like the Sebui becuse it was near the monorail and right at the of Kokusai Dori. You still didn't tell me you budget. There are just too many hotels to choose from on Okinawa, but a taxi or bus can take you just about anywhere. The monorail doesn't go very far as it sticks to the tourist areas of Naha mainly.

As for where to stay near Hamby Town, you are probably going to have to stay in Okinawa City. I have some recommended places to stay there on my Okinawa City page.
