Nimes to Arles

I am arriving in Nimes on the TGV train from Paris - arriving around 4.pm.
I have a dinner date in Arles.
What is the best way to get there? Is there a train? and how long does it take.
Would it be too much to ask someone to drive from Arles to pick me up.

How well do you know your "contact"?
It is little more than a drive of 30 minutes or so should not inconvenience your contact too much.
