| Chiang Mai | Massage Posted: Tue September 25, 2007 01:04 PM UTC
Hi all,
I'm looking for a nice place (as long as it's not too expensive) for a couple (my wife and I )to get a massage together (us on separate tables, that are side by side) in Chiang Mai. Anyone have any suggestions? |

Yes, we've had the same arrangements in Cambodia, Malaysia, and Vietnam, and I had a massage with my sister alongside me in Bangkok before, so I assume the same thing can be done in Chiang Mai. Any reason it can't be?

I think you will have no problems to find a place like that. just look for a maasage clinic and ask for a double room, we did the same in Bali and in Krabi, Thailand.
Good luck !! Fernando - Brazil

Thanx. In Bangkok we didn't ask for a double room, they accomodated with sheet screens in between us with just our heads near each other. But either situation is fine. Again, any recommended places?

When in Chiang Mai I just wander into whichever massage place looks nice. If I want to lie together next to the missus, I just ask them. Never had a problem. In my experience massage is between 120-250 per hour + tip, all over Thailand. I have never found an expensive massage shop in 17 years here unless you use 4 star hotel service.
