URGENTLY seeking reasonably-priced Hotel close (walking distance?) to Bella Centre

Hi!

I'm attending an International Meeting from 02 to 14 October, 2007 at the Bella Centre in Copenhagen.

Need info (name, website, email address, phone/fax numbers, rates) on a reasonably-priced Hotel close to the venue, preferably walking distance.

Any guidance, please!

They are in the process of building a hotel out there as there is none at the moment. The only thing there is is a hostel and that is definately walking distance (and they also have single rooms):

This is really not a problem anymore. We now have a metro-station Bella Centre. So in just a few minutes, you can get to and from the City centre.

That's also true. Having said that, you're in that case best off looking for cheap hotels around Nørreport station as the ones around Kongens Nytorv (another major stop) are more expensive.

Many thanks, Soljet, but, unfortunately, Cab Inn City Hotel is FULLY booked for the duration that I wish to stay (02 to 09 October only).

Any other FRESH tips, please?

I'm really DESPERATE!

Many thanks, but, the "walking distance" Hostel link that you kindly provided responded "NO rooms available for duration (02 to 09 October) required"!

Any other tips at this NEW location you provided, pls!

No need to be desperate. Try this one www.bedandbreakfast.dk and go for Copenhagen and the area Christianshavn. There are 19 to choose from, the area is great with canals and the metro there will take you to Bella Centre in a matter of minutes.

OK Dokey, Soljet!

After much checking on the NET, I managed to get Zleep Hotel for the duration and it's very convenient to reach the BELLA CENTRE by Bus/Train/Metro(?)

Many thanks also to Sjalen for the tips - very kind of both of you!

Only 1 more question left - what time is SUNRISE and SUNSET in Copenhagen now?

I guess you meen the Zleep hotel in Tårnby. Yes that's one stop by train to Örestad from where you can either walk (10 minutes) or take the metro one stop to Bella Center.

The Danish Official Tourist page provided excellent guidance on transport modes which I can choose to go to Bella Centre from Zleep Hotel - I'm very impressed with the splendid details provided.

Yes I often use that site myself when I want to book a hotel at the spur of the moment for some VT meeting or so.
