Is there a park & ride facility for getting into city centre easily? I plan to drive from Hueva area near Portugal border for a day trip into Seville and wish to park easily. Could there be a place to catch a train or bus just on the edge or outskirts of Seville? We visit this week.

There is no park and ride facility, although you could park at the airport and get the bus in. Otherwise see http://www.andalucia.com/cities/seville/transport.htm.

Traffic in Seville is really only scary when you drive in the old town ! That's a network of really narrow streets and most one way.
Around the old city is a ring road and off this ring road there are large mostly underground car parks. You can clearly see them signed with the big letter P.
Coming into Seville from the west (from Huelva Province) you would pass modern day man's answer to nirvana called IKEA then go down the hill to the city itself. You just follow the signs for the 'centro' and keep going. Just pass over two bridges to get to the INNER ring road around the old city. And start looking for the most convenient P. It's really not that bad.
