Is it better to take lire or euros, i know they accept both but which one is mostly accepted and what are most of the prices displayed in etc,

Well seeing as it is Turkey, they will accept Lira everywhere and post prices in such. Can also see euros or pounds displayed and maybe accept.

Do not bring any currency with you .You need a plastic debbit card.You can withdraw money in anywhere of Turkey from ATMs.

they will take both but will haggle over the value of foreign currency. if you uae an ATM to take money out in YTL then you will get best rate.

Will I have any problem to change my euros when I arrive in Marmaris from Rhodes? Is there any exchange office near the port? Do they have good rates?

of course you can change your euros in marmaris.

I've been 2 times in istanbul and I was changing euro at Istiklal. There was good rate and no comision.

I am glad to you have visited istanbul.Do not pay any comission in Marmaris too.
Costa,I recommend to you do not bring € with you.Bring your debbit card and withdraw TRY in Turkey.That s much more better . Yassou
