Planning to visit the Prince's Palace, Cathedral etc. Will be arriving in Villefranche. How far is it by train to arrive at these sights? Where is the train station and how far is the train station from where the ship will dock in Villefranche? What is the'rush hour' on the train during weekdays? Is the Cathedral where Princess Grace is buried close to the Palace? Do you have to take the bus after you get off the train in order to reach these tourist sites? Thank you very much for any advice.

The train journey from Villefrance is easy. Turn right out of port and walk along the port side about 200yds. Train station is on left side, just past restaurant with awning - you need to climb several steps up to station. Trains are cheap and efficient, journey is not long. At station in Monaco you can walk from front of train to upper part of town, or from back to port area. It is worth a visit to see all the expensive yachts. You can follow the port round and then walk up steep hill to casino. Not sure where palace and cathedral are. - Enjoy Villefrance is lovely.
