| Interlaken | Where to stay in January? Posted: Thu September 20, 2007 05:19 PM UTC
HI everyone, my sister and I (both in our 20s) are planning a trip to Switzerland in the beginning of January. We want to stay for 2 nights (around 6,7 of January) in the Junjfrau area, probably in Interlaken.
Can anyone recommend good resorts/hotels to stay in? We would like to explore the region and also to relax for a day, maybe do some ski (definitely not professional) Any advice is appreciated Thanks  |

Just up the road is a wonderful village called Grindelwald which has everything in scenery and transport. It is far cheaper than the city of Interlaken go check my travel pages for more info.

Interlaken is a nice place in summer, not in winter. Head up in the mountains. All the ski resorts offer opportunities for beginners. So don't worry.
For more look at this site: http://www.myswitzerland.com/en/infra.cfm/rkey/1985 If you intend to stay in january 2008, hurry a little bit, many people go there. For hotels look also at: http://www.ebooker.ch Claude
