i am lookign to travel from Bari to Alberobello, and was thinking of doing Ostuni as well and perhaps Cisterno - can this be done in one day trip???
only snag is that I can catch a train Bari to Alberobello, or Ostuni but i cant seem to do Bari - ALberobello-Ostuni - Bari without backtracking to Bari. It seems ridiculous as Alberobello - Ostuni or even to Locorotondo looks to be sooo close to one another. Is there another train system within these lovely towns.... audrey |

Sorry Audrey, you're out of luck. The train from Bari to Alberobello continues down to Taranto. The train from Bari to Ostuni goes to Rutigliano and onward from there. There is no service by train between Alberobello and Ostuni directly.

i am soooo sad - which means the best bet is to return to them... so perhaps ishld do another day trip Bari-Ostuni-Leece and back...

Audrey, I've found a bus service that operates between Ostuni and Alberobello.
The bus no is 175 and it operates 4 or 5 times a day. I cannot find out whereabouts in Ostuni you catch it from.
