What valley is shown with the neat baroque church? Where do you fly into to drive or take train close to this area?

A link to the photograph you to which you refer would be helpful.
Flying in to Milan Bergamo would be useful, or to Milan Malpensa. There are trains and buses from there to the Lecco province.
