Hello,
I will be flying to Delhi with Sri Lanka airlines, so I will hv a 5 hours transit at Colombo airport. I understand that the time is not sufficient to go to the city, and I was advised to visit Negombo. Since I'm on a budget, can anyone tell me where can I find cheap souvenirs such as tees or magnets with "Sri Lanka" written on it and where to hv a nice inexpensive seafood lunch ? Please advise me on the cost too. Thanks. |

Hi there good choice to go to Negombo, the main road with lots of cafes, souvenir shops and guest houses is called Lewis place (which later turns on to Porutota road) you'll find some local handy craft shops there (bargain and lower the price to fit your budget) and a place to get some sea food as well the prices will rage from LKR 500-2000 depending on what you eat,
