| Gibraltar | COMING OVER IN OCTOBER Posted: Sun September 16, 2007 12:43 PM UTC
Dear All,
I am coming over to Gibraltar in October for about 4 days with my son. He is attending trials for football in Gibraltar, does anyone know how far the football places are from the town centre? Also, does anyone know if there are bus routes from La Linea to Alcaidesa and Algeciras as I need to view a couple of properties in these areas and how long does it take? Many thanks. |

I suppose that the football trials would be carried out at Victoria Stadium, and thats less than a 10 minute walk from the town centre.
There are buses to Algeciras every 30min and they take 30-40minutes to Algeciras depending on the traffic. Not too sure about the buses going to Alcaidesa, but buses should take 20-25minutes.

Can't speak to the bus routes, but as far as being inside Gibraltar - don't worry, it's a small place and it's nicely linked by a bus that goes pretty much around most of the area. Make sure to purchase a day ticket if you will be going around Gibraltar.
