What will be the expected weather at the end of October, will the rice fields be green? What would the best out of the way treks and markets be?

We went in October and found it to be pretty nice we wore long pants Bali/fisherman? with singlets and a light sweat. Check out Sinh Cafe they do a 3 day? trip we used them they were great. My mother has just got back she used them and was very happy doing this particular trip. If you are thinking serious trekking you may need proper hiking shoes/boots we just had sandals and it was more of a country stroll than a hike.
