| Canberra | Accomodation for a month... Posted: Sat September 15, 2007 05:24 AM UTC
Hey there!
I'm looking for accommodation for a month in Canberra possibly for one or two people. Does anyone know of any places around the city/belconnen that have a nice price or short term rental options? Thanks a bunch! |

Have lived in The Berra (oh dear) for about two years now. Finding accommodation is difficult at the best of times.
Check out www.allhomes.com.au and run a search for short-term leases, around the city is called 'inner north' and 'inner south' although inner south is usually very expensive, Belconnen is a 40 min bus ride from civic, Woden is about the same - Qeanbeyan will be your cheapest option, but it is a good hour on a bus from civic (it is technically in NSW), is a hole and really hard to get to. The ANU accommodation web-site http://accom.anu.edu.au/UAS/187.html also has listings, you may be able to get into a share house for a while if someone is going away. Finally, depending on the time of year you are looking for, ANU rents out its student accommodation during uni holidays.
