someone is suggesting I could go work in Podgorica for 18 months. which airlines fly there? what's the city like? any thoughts?

- I definitly would esp. if the money and the job is right.
- Quite a few airlines fly there, but most are seasonal, in winter the traffic is much less.
- Normally, the major city to fly without a headache is Beograd (for instance, www.jat.com has often very good deals from London). From Beograd just take the train (about 20 Euro, very scenic ride, roughly 6 hours buy 1st class ticket) or a bus (about the same). JAT also flies to Pogdorica, so if you are in hurry, you could also fly. The prices are reasonable, chech their web site.
- Podgorica istself is not extremely exiting as a city. However, many major attractons are very close (mountains, monasteries, coast, Kotor, Dubrovnik and so on, so on).

My advice would be to try it. If you like nice welcoming people, lots of good restorants with great food it might be right for you. Yet, I may not be objective as I lived there a long period of time and still visit frequently.
