Hello all,
i want to ask about complete detail of taxi services in Karachi i just know about one service , it is ok for long distance but it charge same amount for 1 to 17 KM,

i heard about radio taxi service which charges per kilometer,
please tell me about all radio cabs in Karachi

There are two options: The local taxi (yellow cabs or the old taxis/rickshaws) and the new service radio cabs. Now there are several companies offering the seconf option, namely:

1/ METRO Cab
2/ White Cab
3/ Pearl Cab
4/ Saba Cab

Once you arrive at the airport, get the information about the taxi once you leave the arrival lounge. All the above cabs, and more have their cabins there.

Cost - We hired METRO cab on our last visit to ISB, and it was Rs. 1500 for the whole day and got 100km free. Minum charge is approx. Rs. 200-250, but if you keep it for a long time, it than becomes cheaper than renting from AVIS or other similar car rental agencies.

You can have Radio Taxi hired from Airport, On the Phone and at Cantt. Railways station. Airport to City is normally charges Rs.200-350.

I am sorry , there is some miss understanding
i am not intresting in travel from or to airport
i live in Karachi , i just want to know rates of different companies so i can choose one of them,
i.e i want to travel b/w gulistan jauhar & tower or gulshan-e-Iqbal to defense,

actually i have bad experiences with yellow cab or (black yellow taxi) with there rent they demand so much , the condition of there taxi is not good and at the end of travel they deny to go one more street, there meter is not in working condition ,
thats why i want to use radio cab'
please help

But the radio cab will most probably be more expensive than the yellow street cabs. The radio cab cars are much nicer though.

ya i know they are slightly costly.
but if a normal taxi charge 200 then they charge 250-300 its ok for me to avoid hassle of bergen with taxi drivers,

i call some of radio cabs, i think they are much costly and plus they have no package for short distance, every body isn't travel to 10+ km, so i think this should be resolve
