Planning a holiday in Surfers Paradise in Dec, and was wondering if anyone have any recommendations for a day tour that have some snorkelling. Any good snorkelling locations close to Gold Coast worth going to, and any recommended companies? Thanks.

Did see some kayaking+snorkelling tours on the web, but not too sure how good is the snorkelling.

Hi There is np coral reefs around the Gold Coast , you have to go 1,000km north for that but there must be some good snorkelling areas around Stradbroke Island or Bribie Island. Why not research these places on VT.

The Gold Coast isn't famous for snorkeling (as already advised) but I did manage to dig this out:

I haven't been there personally, but I hear there is amazing snorkeling around Stradbroke Island. There is apparently one or two ship wreaks you can go snorkel around that are pretty cool.
